Easter Marathon

For Josh & I, this was 1 of our most enjoyable Easter's.  Unlike past years, we had an Easter marathon this year which started with dying of eggs on Good Friday.  For the Roberts family, it doesn't matter how old you are they still all enjoy dying Easter eggs.  It's always interesting to see what everyone comes up with and who's is the best.  This year was most enjoyable for me because watching all the kids be so into it and do such a great job was very rewarding as a mother.

Next was an Amazing Race put on by Lyndsy & Ashley.  Saturday was spent racing around the farm on 4-wheelers, solving puzzles & obstacles and of course spending time with all of Lyndsy& Ashley's family & friends.  Josh & I are already looking forward to next years amazing race.

Brian & Staci completing clue #2.  Carry a straw bail as if you are barrel racing.
 (They won the 2-man race)

Sorry I really didn't take very many pictures, it was craziness.  Although, someone really should have taken a before & after picture because we all looked like we had rolled in dirt all day at the end of the race.

Finally, Easter was here.  Like all Easter's, we spent the morning at church with dad & mom and then made a quick trip to Othello to visit Grandpa & Grandma.  Once we made it back home, Josh & I had our parents over for dinner which was the most unorganized meal I think I have ever put together.  Lyndsy, Ashley and the cousins joined us for a quick egg hunt before the rain started.  I'm not kidding, it sounds unorganized and rushed because it was!!  But, Easter and all other holidays aren't about how smooth things go, there about being together and making memories.  It was a wonderful Easter Marathon.
Thank you Lyndsy & Ashley again for a GREAT AMAZING RACE ADVENTURE.

Egg Hunt

Grandpa, that's not an egg

This is Alyee's way of egg hunting

Uncle Jacob was able to come out and see the kids, the boys love him

So, what is 1 to do with all the eggs after they have been hunted for?
That's right, we had a little baseball practice.
