Aim Fire!

This past weekend Winston convinced Grandpa Lyndsy he was old enough for his dad's old BB gun.  If you know Grandpa, I don't think it took a lot of convincing.  Once Hans caught word that their were BB guns within arms reach, there was no telling him no.  Hans and Winston are a package deal and very close brothers, just as I hope they always will be.
Needless to say, Monday was a day off from school spent working on their aim.
What could be better than using beer cans as your target.
It's so hard for me to realize just how grown up Winston is getting.  Amazing how fast time goes by.

Hans had so much fun shooting guns with his big brother and dad.

My baby boys are becoming little men right before my eyes.

What time is it?

It's WILD time!!

Last night we went and watched a very exciting Wenatchee Wild Hockey Game.

We surprised the kids with AWESOME seats right behind the team.  Those are official hockey pucks that the players gave the kids.  They were used in practice!

With front row seats the kids also got a great view of all the action.  Most of the night looked and seemed like we were at a wrestling match rather than a hockey game.  Tempers were hot all night.

With both teams spending alot of time in the penalty box and 6 players being EJECTED!!!

"Let's go WILD.... BOOM BOOM".
A little worried I am raising a cheerleader after watching her yell her cheer all night.

At the end of the night, Wild had 2 of their goals taken away leaving them with a loss of 2-3.

A trip North

Last weekend we decided to take a little road trip up north for the day.  Along the way we saw lots of things which made it also an educational trip as well.

Over looking Blue Lake

A stop at Dry Falls

I named these 2 eagles Mac and Jack.  I could look at Bald Eagles all day!  Something amazing amazing and stunning about them to me.

People Ice climbing.  The kids found that to be very interesting.

Of course a stop at the Grand Coulee Dam.  We usually take the kids there every year.  Lots to learn there.

A family picture of where we told Hans we were going to let him out and he could find his way home.  Amazing how he shaped right up once we actually stopped and he thought we would actually do that to him.

The main point of the whole trip.  Alyee had asked daddy for a boat ride that morning.. Keller Fairy was the best he could do with such short notice.

She grinned the entire time.  Such a spoiled but yet very cute little princess.

That's ALOT of candles

"That's ALOT of candles Grandpa", Hans said.  Next came the "Are you old"?  From Winston.  Got to love the things that come out of kids mouths.  Happy Birthday Dad!

Wishing you another year of happiness and adventure.  We love you!

Happy New Year

Josh and I had no problems making the choice to stay home and ring in the new year as a family.  Who better to spend it but our kids who we love dearly.  The day was filled with fun and memories.

Go-carting at Hayden's

Hans favorite part, how much dirt he could throw with his back tires.  It's the little things.

My cute and wonderful three little monsters.  Love each one of them to the moon and back!

Waiting for the fun to begin

Grandma surprised Alyee with a horse ride.  Completely made her day!  Thanks Grandma

We also made homemade donuts which is NOW going to be a tradition.  They were so yummy!! and so worth the effort.

These pictures are AMAZING!!  A huge shout out to Jonda for her wonderful and creative idea.  Thank you Jonda!!

Happy New Year BABE!  Love you

Thank you everyone for a super 2011!
