Birthday time

This past week we helped Josh's dad celebrate turning another year older.

Who's birthday was it?  Oh ya, Grandpa.  Where is he??

We enjoyed some beautiful piano playing from Uncle Lyndsy and Alyee.

And ended the evening with a fun game of Bingo.

What a great time we all had celebrating your birthday Grandpa Lyndsy.  We love birthdays & you!!  Thanks for letting us be apart of your day.

Remember when?

Remember when we were all kids and we got to make our valentine boxes and hang them on the front of our desks?  Well I do and I loved making them, so I always get excited when it's time to make valentine's.  This year I was bound and determined to have the boys make their valentine's, so we did.

All we really needed was crayons and who doesn't like crayons?

The boys did a great job of addressing their valentine's to their friends and teacher's.

And if I do say so myself, I think their valentine's turned out amazing.
After we had them all made, Josh told me to enjoy the moment because as the boys get older they aren't going to find making their valentine's nearly as fun as they did this year.  I'm hoping he is wrong.

"Mommy, I DID IT"!!!!!

I have been holding off on this post for about 2 weeks worried that if I got too excited I would jinks things., but here it goes.  Yes, Aylee is POTTY TRAINED!!!  No more diapers for this mom.  She caught on real quick and hasn't looked back since.  My only problem now is she enjoys running around naked ALL THE TIME.  She takes her clothes off faster than I can get them on.  Kids, they sure keep us on our toes.

~ not all mine ~

Moses Lake is preparing for 200 U.S Air force Men and Women to arrive from Fairchild any day now.  Because the Fairchild Team will be stationed in Moses Lake until November, the city sponsored to have a free look around the U.S. Air force Plane.  How cool is that, free and see the inside of an air force plane.  We are in!
So last week Josh and I loaded up our 3 kids as well as our niece and nephew, yes that's 5 kids total.  Winston, Hans and Hayden (who call themselves twins and are 5) and Payton and Alyee who are both 2.  I found myself saying, "nope only 3 are mine".  It was a lot of fun and Grandpa Lyndsy came along also.

The kids enjoyed every minute of this adventure as did Josh and I.  It was very neat to take the boys onto a plane that we see fly over our house quite often and say, "yep this is that plane".  I just loving being able to be a kid again through my kids eyes.  How precious they really are and oh what imaginations they have.

An Air force Crew member with my 5 kids for the day

Payton and Alyee had so much fun playing peek-a-boo with each other using this sign.  I think this is the first picture I have gotten of them both looking at the same time with smiles.  Too bad they aren't both in the sun, but I will take it.

The boys and Grandpa after getting to look through the whole plane.  They even got to go in the cock pit and visit with the pilot.

Thanks for going with us Grandpa, we had a super time.

It's 'Wild' Time

All winter the boys have been asking to go to a Wenatchee Wild Hockey game, so this past Saturday we took the boys and a some of our Ephrata friends and enjoyed a night of Wild Hockey.  Wenatchee won 3-0 which made it even more enjoyable.  There was a lot of fun had by all who went.

Down side to the night, both boys are 100% wanting to play hockey now and the funniest part of the night was hearing Hans say he really needed the hockey mask so he wouldn't get anymore bumps on his head.  And a BIG THANK YOU to grandpa and grandma for the awesome Hockey Jersey's!!!
