Time is running out

As summer comes to an end, I find myself soaking up as much time with the kids as possible.  Most of all I will miss the moments when they are actually all 3 getting along and enjoying each others company.

It is truly and simply mind boggling that Winston is going to be a 2nd grader.  It has been a summer of watching him grow and GROW!!  I am so excited for him to learn more and discover new things.

And Hans, it's a big year of change for him as he gets ready for a year of kindergarten.  (ALL DAY Kindergarten)!!  He is more than ready to be at school just like his big brother.

But with the 2 boys off to school all day, that just leaves Alyee and I.  And well judging by this picture, I'm sure everyday will be filled with excitement and adventure for us.

You 3 kids mean the world to both daddy and I and we love you so very much!!

Idols for a day

During this past week, Ephrata hosted the Babe Ruth World Series.  Although we didn't make it to a game we did get to spend some time with a few players.  In the boys eyes these 4 young boys were idols to them.  All 4 of the ball players signed a baseball for the boys and gave Winston and Hans an evening of fun out on the lake with us.  Go Iowa!!

The Ranch

This past week the kids and I spent sometime out on the 21 before harvest came to an end.  Every time I make a visit to the Ranch it always reminds me why Grandpa and Grandma love it so much out there.  It is simple beautiful and peaceful.  Most of all, I love to see the smiles that both Lyndsy and Sally faces when they talk and show you all that they have been doing out there.  They truly love it out in the dry lands.

It was a great harvest

These 2 boys can't wait to be the drivers behind the trucks.  Future farmers in the making.

He's UP!!

Yes that is right, Winston finally stood all the way up on his ski's.  A few nights ago my parents joined us for a relaxing evening on the lake and so they could let the boys show off on their water toys.  I just know he was waiting for Grandpa and Gram so he could show off to them.

Winston so badly wants to be able to ski as good as his dad.  I do love watching Josh ski, he makes it look so easy.

What a group we are.  I love each and everyone of you to the moon and back!
