The Roberts

This past Sunday was spent with Josh's family and getting an up to date family photo as well as celebrating Grandpa Lyndsy's birthday.  It was a very enjoyable day filled with lots of laughs.

An updated family photo of the whole gang.  Not to bad for last minute!

Let the celebration begin ...

For needing 2 cakes to get all the candles on he didn't too bad.
I think he had help.  What do you think?

Uncle Brian & Hans seem to always have fun together.

Day 4

We spent the morning enjoying LOTS of rides and LOTS of laughs.

In the afternoon we had a surprise for Alyee,
Lunch with all the princesses.  It was wonderful to see her be so nervous and excited to actually meet all the princesses she LOVES.  It was like her dream had come true.
(the boys were good sports about it for their sister).

Alyee really wanted to meet Rapunzel so while the boys went and rode the roller coaster, Alyee and I stood in line to meet Rapunzel.  So worth it, Alyee would have talked her ear off if she could have.

Alyee and Rapunzel.

We had a lot of fun!

Thank you daddy for making it all happen!!

Day 3

Day 3 was a special morning spent with Mickey Mouse and his friends at toon town before the park opened.

Alyee had 1 more HUGE hug for Minnie

Alyee loved Minnie's house.  I thought we would never get her out of it.

Pluto and Goofy even made an appearance.

Day 2

We spent our first morning having breakfast with Minnie and her friends.  The boys tried to play it off as if they were too cool for the characters but they enjoyed it almost as much as their sister did.

Next was a morning filled with lots of smiles and fun rides!  Next the boys headed out for a few rides Alyee wasn't tall enough for and her and I headed to the Fairy walk!

Not sure what went wrong with this picture but Alyee got lucky and got to meet Tinkerbell AND her best friend Fawn.  It was so cute to watch Alyee's face when she saw the fairies in real life.

When Alyee and I walked out of the Fairy Walk there right in front of us was Snow White!  Snow White was the first Princess Alyee got to meet and boy did she have alot to tell her.  She would have talked her ear off if Snow White didn't have a line of other little Princesses waiting to meet her.

Let the fun continue ....

Day 1

First up was getting the little princess her Minnie Mouse ears!
(and glasses)

Once Alyee had ears it was all about the rides.  She is such a dare devil!  I only wish I had gotten a picture of her and her arms up ready for the thrill rides.  She LOVED everything about Disneyland as did the boys.

SURPRISE!!!

Josh and I decided to surprise the kids with a trip to Disneyland!  Both boys had been to Disneyland and little miss Alyee had been waiting very patiently for her turn, plus she was tall enough for all but 2 rides.  What a joy it was to see the wonderful smiles on all their faces when we told them where we were going.  So glad we kept it a surprise.

Good-bye Christmas Tree

For the past few years, Josh and I made burning the Christmas tree somewhat of  a special event.  This year was no different.  Although, not sure Alyee found it as enjoyable as the rest of us did.  She was a little upset with daddy for burning her Christmas Tree.

Oh Christmas Tree.....

Oh Christmas Tree.....
A Christmas tree smells so good when it's burning.

The crew!
