Harlem Globbetrotters

To end the Basketball season Josh and I surprised the kids with tickets to see the Harlem Globbetrotters.  It was the best way to end a fun basketball season and the kids loved every minute of it.  They are already asking when they can go again.

Boys with Special K..... Alyee wanted nothing to do with a picture.  She said he was too tall

Memories were made!!!

A birthday at Bandon, OR is a dream for this family....  their is few that gets to experience it.  Hans Thomas, Uncle Lyndsy and Grandpa Lyndsy.  The rest of us can only dream!

A birthday at the ocean can only mean one thing....  Beach BonFire!

This ended up being Grandpa and Winston's master piece of a Beach Fort.  Not too bad if you ask me

Hans worked hard at gathering wood for BonFire

Grandma found quite a LOG herself

So sad I didn't get more pictures of these little ladies at the beach, the weather just didn't help matters.  They truly LOVE the beach and being together!!

A beautiful evening to end a yet again an AWESOME trip to the Oregon Coast!

And even more importantly another year around the sun for a VERY special Father-in-Law!  LOVE you very much Lyndsy.  Thank you for all you do, you are LOVED to the Moon and Back!

Bandon 2014

It is somewhat of a tradition that the Roberts Family always makes at least 1 trip to the beautiful  Bandon, Oregon each year.  This year we all loaded up and headed south for Josh's dad birthday.

The weather didn't exactly cooperated the best this trip but weather has never stopped the Roberts Family.

This trip to Bandon we saw a HUGE rain and wind storm.  Some locals told us it was their worse in some time.  We had massive flooding in our hotel room.  I would say it was close to flash flooding.... not that extreme but it was pretty wild!

Once the storm passed we hit the beach ASAP to see what we could find and Winston found the best treasure ever!  This treasure is one of the best treasures you can find on a Roberts trip to the beach... A Bowie!!  He was super excited cuz it was his first one to find and all on his own!

It didn't take Grandpa long to show him how to showcase his find

Beautiful Face Rock

Alyee found her first complete Sea Shell also that wasn't a ROCK!  That was HUGE!!!

a beautiful evening on Beach

Finally day 3 Hans found a teasure!  A Lighthouse Lightbulb.....  at least that's what we told him it was.  His Grandpa told him it was Japan  LOL  He left with a huge smile on his face.

Hitting the Slopes!

This past weekend Josh and I took the kids for their first ever skiing experience.  It was so awesome to watch them enjoy skiing and actually get it in 1 afternoon.  Quote of the day, "There is nothing to pizza fries, if you can do that then you can ski".  Made me laugh since it was only 3 hours of skiing and that was their conclusion.

kids waiting for their ski lesson to begin.  Even friend Caiden came up for the day.

Josh and I got to enjoy some skiing together while the kids were in lessons.  It was my first time hitting the slopes in 10 YEARS!!!  It was just like riding a bike.

By the end of day 2... Alyee got her first ride up chair 1!  She made it down but preferred to go back to the bunny hill.  She was all smiles through and super excited that she got to ride the chair like her brothers and that she made it to the bottom of the hill.

Josh and the boys enjoyed an afternoon of skiing together.  Josh said they had it down and that Winston was doing a really good job of working on his form and Hans made it look to easy.  Hans also made it down the slopes rather quickly while managing to look in control even.

Alyee and I enjoyed some hot chocolate to celebrated her great success.  Her instructor said she had awesome form and was a natural.

Can't wait to take the kids back and they can't wait either!

Food Bank Field Trip

Alyee and her 24 classmates at Preschool all donated canned goods throughout he month of January.  Then on January 31, 2014, they got to deliver all the food they had donated.  It was so amazing to see how much just 25 preschoolers donated and also very rewarding as a mom to see all these young ones listen to how they are helping other people less fortunate.

All of them listening to what will happen with all the food they donated.

Pretty awesome to see these numbers from such a small community.

SEA-HAWKS......SEA-HAWKS!!!!!!!!

February 2, 2014 is Washington State History!!!!

Throughout the season we made a tradition of spending most Sundays together as a group and enjoyed watching the Seahawks make it to Super Bowl XLVIII.  What a season it was for them and us as fans!

This is half our usual group.

Josh and I hosted the SuperBowl and what an amazing day it was!!!!  Watching Seahawks defense destroy the Broncos offensive was amazing along with Russell Wilson and the rest of his team playing amazing as a whole!

Our house was probably the loudest it's EVER been, but for good reason!
Seahawks win FIRST ever SuperBowl!!!

The boys all super excited over the BIG win!!!

even the little ones dressed up for preschool!
