Priceless

A picture is worth a thousand words.  My daughter is something special and VERY rare.  I have no idea what made her think that doing a head stand in a mud puddle would be fun but she did.
Seriously, who's child is she?

Thanks Aunt Ashley for the GREAT picture. It will be very handy in the future.

1st grade here he comes

Today Winston began the journey of completing 1st Grade.  He was so excited and couldn't wait to get to school to see all his buddies and start a new year of learning.  He started his morning with 1 of his favorite breakfasts and also headed off to school in his second shirt for the day.  That's how  much he loves bacon with biscuits and jam.  I can hardly wait to see where this years journey gets him.

I'm not sure if Hans and Alyee were just that excited to see Winston go off to school or if they just woke up in that great of moods.

Fair Week

Last week was filled with family time and lots of fun.  Josh and I always look forward to the Grant County Fair due to the fact that we both have some of the best memories from our days at the fair.  It was a very fun week spent taking the kids to the carnival, Rodeo and just walking around at the fair seeing friends and family.

Thursday was spent riding the rides.  Josh was a good sport and rode almost all the rides with the boys.  It was a little enjoyable to watch him get a little greener after each ride.  All he kept saying was, "I don't remember feeling like this when I was younger".  The joys of getting older.

The boys enjoyed riding the flying bobs with Uncle Lyndsy and Hayden the most.  It was a great way to end our day at the carnival.

The Grant County Fair isn't complete without an evening spent in cowboy boots.  Thursday Josh and I took the kids to the rodeo so they could all sport their cowboy and cowgirl gear.  They all looked so cute I must say.  It was a first for me to have a cowgirl at the rodeo and Alyee wore her little pink boots proud.

Demo Day!!!

If you know my family, then you will know just how big of a deal the demo is to us.  Especially Hans, who sat in the back seat of the car while taking the demo car in and saying, "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, look guys the demo car is RIGHT behind us."  It was pretty darn cute if you ask me.  I can't say that the number 43 had it's best night, but we were due for a bad one.  This was Josh's 14th demo and the first time he didn't win at least 1 race.  Oh well, there is always next year.

This kids helped dad get the car ready that morning.

The boys were most excited to sit with cousin Kyle.

Long over due

After about a month, I am finally getting around to updating the blog and sharing the big news for the Roberts' family.  Yes, we have a family boat!!!  One day daddy loaded up the family took us all to Wenatchee and bought us all a boat.  Just about every evening since then has been spent enjoying our new toy.

Dad just never goes fast enough for the boys and as you can see they have even gotten Alyee giving the thumbs up sign.

Me and my sweetheart.  I love you babe!!

That's going to leave a mark

Awhile back my dad rode bikes with the boys and attempted to show them new tricks.  The key word is, attempted!

As you can see, dad is on the ground.  His only comment was, "I remember it being a lot harder than that to do a wheelie".

He was showing off at this point, showing how talented he was and that he could still ride a 6 years bike.  He even rode Hans smaller bike.  My dad is something special.

My little bike riders

All in all it was a beautiful evening full of laughs and good family time.

The 30's begin

Last Friday night my dear sweet friend Traci turned 30!!  She is the first out of all our friends and her husband threw her an amazing birthday bash at their family pond.  It was an evening filled with FUN and Laughs.

The pond was full of fun for kids.

Not to mention a sand pile and fishing poles.  Lets just say the kids were completely entertained the whole evening.
