Fire safety field trip

I got the chance to be apart of Winston's class when they took their field trip on fire safety. Oh the questions a 7 year old will ask. I had a wonderful time and could listen to little 7 years all day and the things they say.

School has begun

What are the chances of a mom having to send 2 kids to their first day of school on the same day? Well at 8 am I kissed Winston goodbye as I walked him to his class for the first day of Kindergarten and then at 9 am I kissed Hans goodbye as I said have fun at your first day of preschool. I think what really tore me up is when I said goodbye to Winston he replied with "See ya when you pick me up". That's when I realize he was more than ready for kindergarten and didn't need me hanging around making sure he was okay. Then there was Hans who couldn't get inside the preschool class fast enough. He was so excited to meet new friends and go to the same preschool his brother had gone. Funny how they just grow up into these big boys who are just fine with trying something new and so excited for all of it.

This could make any mothers heart melt.
