Halloween

Our boys sure did know exactly what they wanted to be for Halloween this year. It makes me wonder just how their little minds work.

Kindergarten Field Trip

Winston had his first field trip with his class. They visited the local pumpkin patch where every kindergartener got to pick out a pumpkin and that them home. They also got to hear how pumpkins are grown and how you can eat the inside of a pumpkin. The only rule on the trip was "if you can't carry the pumpkin then you can't have that pumpkin".

You are never to young to enjoy carving a pumpkin for Halloween.

Seahawks Game

When we asked Winston what he wanted for his 6th birthday, he replied with "I want to go to a Seahawks Game". His dad gets to go about twice a year with a friend and the boys have always wanted to go with him but just can't. So, we thought what a great opportunity for us to spend some time with just the boys and a great opportunity for Alyee to be spoiled by Grandpa and Grandma.

We a ton of fun and can't wait to do it again.

Winston turns 6

Wow he is really a 6 year old. How do they grow up so fast. Winston had a great birthday surrounded by lots of family. He enjoyed treats with his classmate and cake with his family. He got lots of new things to play with and his mother is really excited that his grandma Sally gave him a drum. Oh boy!!

Bus Trip

It's tradition for the Roberts family to visit the local pumpkin patch and gather pumpkins as a family. This year we did it in style, we took a bus. It was so much fun and now the family is in hunt for a bus to have as our own.

We're Back!!!!

Well I just don't know what it was but something about having a blog I missed, so here we are again. Only this time I promise to do a better job of updating it. Winter is finally right around the corner and I am so excited. Holiday time is my favorite time of the year. Family, Food and good memories, those are all the things I love about winter time and holiday time.
This is our first Thanksgiving were we are packing up and heading out for a family vacation. We as a family are heading to the oregon coast. When Winston started school this past fall I don't think it really sunk in just how much life changes for a farmer or parents in that matter. You no longer just pack up and take vacation after harvest is over, you have to wait for a school break. Oh how life has changed for us and will remain changed for many years to come.
