2013 Baseball Opening Ceremony

This year is a BUSY baseball season for this Roberts family and an even more busy season for Josh who is coaching both the Wintoniak Racing Rookies Team as well as the American Lady Growers, LLC. Minors Team.  On top of that he is still finding time to keep the farm up and running.
 He's one AWESOME DAD!!!

This past Saturday was the opening day and a ceremony like no other.

Winston and his teammates (American Lady Growers, LLC.)

Hans and his teammates (Wintoniak Racing)

This year the President of the program surprised the kids and the crowd with a special fly over from this plane.
A 1983 CJ-6 military trainer.
It was VERY cool and the kids are still talking about it.

Hans and his team got to play their first game on opening day.

Hans throws to first as a few of his teammates watch on.

Alyee has no problem enjoying the game from the sideline.  As long as she has her chair and her seeds all is good.

Planting 2013

I am happy to report that all the potatoes are in the ground thanks to JOSH!  Now we what and pray that all goes well and they grow.

Sunday was another day of riding for the boys

Meeting and making a plan

The guy who made it all happen.  Thank you Grandpa!!!

(I love that he is showing the boys how important it is to wear a helmet.... even if it is an antique)

Let's go racing boys!

Last weekend we actually had a weekend to ourselves with not a lot on the agenda so the boys took advantage of it with some good old racing.

 Rock on!!

Hello Spring!

Everyone knows that when Spring is here so is the wind.  So Sunday Josh got the kids each a kite and decided to embrace the wind rather than curse it.

There is just something about flying a kite!  I don't care how old you are it's always fun!!

Maybe Josh should get himself his own kite next time.

Hans before....

Grandpa..... "I kind of got my kite string stuck around your pickup".  hahahah, only Hans!

That is a fly away kite

and that's a smile of a boy who was able to find his lost fly away kite.   What a great way to end our Spring Break, with SMILES!!!!

Boys...... "Lets Ride"

Last summer the boys got motorcycles thanks to Grandpa.  Since then he has been taking the grandsons riding and teaching them to ride.  This past week though, Josh and his brother were both surprised with his own bike as well and are now also part of the gang.  Now they just need a Group Name.
Fun to watch them have some boy time together.

It was cold but here they all are on their Sunday afternoon ride.
