Tonsils

Well, at the age of 30 we finally found a Dr. that would take Josh's Tonsils out. Josh's mom said she has tried since he was a baby, but no Dr. ever thought it was necessary. So after hearing every morning for the past 7 1/2 years about his throat hurting almost every morning, I took him to a Throat, Nose and Ear Dr. Without even so much of a pause in his voice, the Dr. said "oh ya, those need to come out".
So this past Thursday I took him to Wenatchee and had them removed. Not sure if any of you know much about having Tonsils removed or not, but it is probably one of the most unpleasant surgery to have done. There is no way to sugar coat it the Dr said, "it will be a miserable 2 weeks of recovery, but in the long run it will be well worth it".
So far Josh has done alright, things got a little crazy when Alyee decided she too needed to be sick and taken care of as well. Like I have told my Grandma, "The Lord never gives us more than we can handle".

  2. oh they look so cute cuddling together. Jaida is not much of a cuddler only occasionally and we get to enjoy it ever once and awhile. Hope they are feeling better!
