Roberts Pumpkin carving day!
It was another year of pumpkin carving at Brian and Tamar's. The Roberts Family has several traditions but the pumpkin carving day is one that we always do at Brian and Tamar's. We usually always begin with a delicious brunch and then it's game on!
Going into this year I would have bet a lot that I had the winning pumpkin. Little did I know Devyn was going to walk in with what I would call a Gourd! She took 1st place this year and we all know 2nd place is just the first loser.
This is my pumpkin 40lbs!
This is what Niece Devyn brought and called a pumpkin!
Let the carving begin!
Winston did a great job at carving his pumpkins this year.
Winston and 1 of the many pumpkins he carved. He loves carving pumpkins.
This year was a first for Hans. He got to carve his pumpkin all on his own! As we got to Aunt Tamar's he informed us he was almost 8 so he could handle it.
As you can see, he did an AWESOME job at carving his pumpkin!
He was super proud of himself!!!!
Last but not least was Alyee, and although she tried to tell us she could do it herself daddy took care of her pumpkin for her. She has a few years yet before we turn her loose with a knife.
I think is just might be one of my favorite pictures of Tamar. She is seriously a very talented woman but that smirk says talented and more!
AND YES…… I even carved a pumpkin this year after Josh gutted it for me!
The annual Grandkid picture.
And the Roberts Family!!
As you can see, yet another awesome "Roberts Family Pumpkin Carving Day".
Thanks Brian and Tamar!!!

Lovable Uncle
Uncle Jacob has always done an awesome job at being an Uncle. He has baby sat when I'm in a pinch and done great at it. The kids LOVE him! So when Miss Amalynn came along it was no surprise that he loved her just as much as the others.
What lucky girls they are!
I'd say she loves her Uncle!

TEN!!!!!
It's true…..we officially have a 10 year old in the house.
Winston celebrated with friends Friday night and what fun they had. Five wonderful friends of Winston's, came over and spent the night. Josh kept them busy outside with games and fireworks.
Then Saturday was here and it was his true birthday! Uncle Jacob, Uncle John and Aunt Brynne got him his first skateboard. I'd say by the smile on his face he was pretty excited. Oh boy!
Great Grandpa joined us for the celebration. It's always wonderful have him join in on all of our craziness.
Winston asked of for pie this year. He's not a big cake person but he sure does LOVE pumpkin pie.
Love you to the moon and back Winston. Dad and I couldn't be more proud of the young man you are turning into.

Pumpkin Patch is open!
For the past few years, the farm has grown pumpkins for local schools to come and visit as a field trip. Kids get to come out to the country and walk through the pumpkin patch so they can pick out their very own pumpkins.
And this guy makes it all happen! Thanks Josh I know how much the kids LOVE it!

Flag Football Completely
What a season Hans had.
He learned a lot and had a ton of fun as well. He made some new friends and is already looking forward to next year.
To finish up the season Hans team finally play against his buddy Brady and Ryker. They loved playing against each other and had fun.
Hans even got to show off for his Great Grandpa Tom
A quick snap shot of Hans and his teammates
…and a BIG thank you to these Grandparents who do their very best to be at everything these kids have going on. It means a lot to the boys to have you there cheering them on!

Wenatchee Wild
A few weekend's ago, our family was treated to a Wenatchee Wild's hockey game. So us and some friends all headed to Wenatchee and enjoyed a hockey game from the club level. Boy is it another world up there. Not sure now that we have been spoiled if we can go back. Thanks Dustin for the invite and already looking forward to next year.
Boys clearly didn't have a problem with having awesome seats!
Alyee and Caiden had a ball together
These kids all make me smile. What great kids they are.
Butch with the boys. Caiden and Alyee enjoyed butch from a distance. As soon as he entered the suite Caiden ran to the corner in tears and Alyee hid under the table in tears. It was super funny!!
Winston managed to score a free shirt that was thrown to the crowd.

October 1st came whether I liked it or not, which meant I turned another year younger. It's always a busy time of year with it being right in the middle of harvest but Josh was able to join the kids and I for dinner in town after football practice and then back home we came to enjoy a beautiful cake Alyee had made for me. Boy was it beautiful.
look at all those candles!
I am a very blessed and lucky mama!
Thank you Josh and kids for a special evening! Love my family!!!!

Cloudview Farms
At the beginning of the month Alyee and I got to join Hans and his class on a field trip to a local farm. They had Pigs, Sheep, Chickens and a HUGE garden of fresh vegetables.
The kids learned a lot about plants. It was very interesting and I'm so glad I got to join them.
Looking to see if the chickens had left any eggs
Mama piggy. She was quite large!
Hans and his classmates heading out for a straw ride around the farm
Learning about the seeds from plants
Picking some fresh carrots to enjoy as a snack.
It was a awesome field trip. Thank you Cloudview farms for a wonderful visit!
