This past spring, Hans Grandpa Lyndsy decided to plant a pumpkin patch in hopes of having his Kindergarten class be able to come and get themselves some pumpkins. Well, that idea played out this past week, when Hans and the other 3 Grant Elemantry Kindergarten classes made their first field trip of the year out to the farm to get them some pumpkins.

It was so much fun watching all those cute kids try and find just the right pumpkin and it was also fun to watch Hans be able to talk up how it was his Grandpa and Grandma's pumpkin patch. Kids are so cute.
The only rule is you have to be able to carry your own pumpkin!

All good things have to come to an end, and so they all loaded up and back to school they went.
Oh that is the coolest! So fun! such a fun family!

ReplyDeleteI think it's so awesome Hans was able to have this project with his grandpa and then share it with his fellow kindergarteners! How fun!!! Jace thinks we should grow our own pumpkins next year in a "big patch"...I'm thinking tiny patch. We'll see.
