Beautiful

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my Grandma.  She was a special lady full of wisdom and lots of great advice.  Even though I miss her, this Grandma tree I planted in her honor gives me the joy I need.  Watching this tree bloom so beautiful reminds me that she is looking down on all of us and that she is still with us.  Love you Grandma and miss you!

Planting 2012

Monday was the first day of crops going in the ground for 2012!  There is something about having the ground worked and watching your crops be planted that puts a smile on all our faces. 

An afternoon spent with Grandpa

During Spring Break, the boys spent an afternoon with Grandpa Lyndsy.  It was only an afternoon so really how much trouble could they really find.

They started with adventure #1...

You got it, Grandpa and boys started working on few things that need to be taken to the scrape yard.  If you were to watch my video of all this happening you would here me screaming and freaking out the whole time.

Adventure #2 involved the BEAST!

Who needs snow and a sled when you have a driveway and a hood.

Last but not least no one had tried out the new dock on the pond so in they went.

Take note of Winston face, does he realize that the water is like ICE COLD!!!!

 Now take note of Hans and cousin Hayden's face, I'm pretty sure these boys got that it was terribly COLD!

All ended well with a quick dip in Grandma's hot tub to warm up.

 I'd say judging by the look on Winston's face it was a VERY memorable afternoon spent with Grandpa.
